      Methodology: Generally:-

      After taking client instructions, DS works assiduously to complete your requirement, by utilizing:

      ♦  Proactive search and courteous, bespoke outreach;

      ♦  Advertising;

      ♦ A (live, active) in-house database of thousands of lawyers, and compliance and other professionals;

      ♦  Significant referral networks;

      ♦  Social networking; professional and industry listings; online, special access or public data and databases; and information-specific search.

      Clients are provided with a selection of targeted, screened and cleared candidate profiles, plus follow up profiles until your assignment is completed.

      DS facilitates and supports your selection/ interview/ checking process, as required, through finalisation. DS will help secure the offeree. 

      After finalisation, DS supports the client and the candidate through the initial months of a placement.

      Candidate and client information is handled by DS with consent, fairly, and fully in accordance with Hong Kong Data Privacy obligations and requirements.

      • Referral Bonus: If DS successfully, within 18 months of the referral date:

          • Places in employment a person you refer to us; OR
          • Places a (first) person at an organisation whose internal recruitment principal is effectively referred to us by you;

         

      • The referrer will be rewarded with vouchers or coupons valued at:

          • HK$1000, where the received placement fee is in respect of a basic salary or equivalent of less than HK$50,000 per month;
          • HK$2000, where the received placement fee is in respect of a basic salary or equivalent of between HK$50,000 and HK$100,000 per month;
          • HK$3000, where the received placement fee is in respect of a basic salary or equivalent of more than HK$100,000 and less than HK$150,000 per month;
          • HK$4000, where the received placement fee is in respect of a basic salary or equivalent of between HK$150,000 and HK$200,000 per month;
          • HK$5000, where the received placement fee is in respect of a basic salary or equivalent of more than HK$200,000 per month.

         

      • The above amounts and details are valid at the time of writing (22nd February, 2019) and are subject to change; any changes will be made in good faith, and will as far as possible be recorded and shown in this (or an equivalent public) space. Where a received fee has, for whatever reason, been discounted, DS will ensure the referral bonus fairly reflects the actual amount received.

        Discover Select is an Employment Agency registered in Hong Kong (Licence No. 57890), and was established in 2016.

        Director Daryl Hodes has worked in Hong Kong as a recruitment professional since 2007. At Hays he managed the Legal and HR (recruitment) desks before moving in-house at Standard Chartered Bank.

        Prior to moving to Hong Kong, he worked at East West Consulting (Japan) for 10 years, ultimately as a senior recruitment manager.

        He was admitted as a solicitor in NSW (Australia), and worked in private litigation practice before leaving Sydney (and then, later, as in-house legal adviser while at East West).
